An Art Center for the Community!

Support BAC Today

BAC is still here because of YOU.

Thank you for being a valued friend of Brentwood Art Center! As a member of this special community, you know that BAC is a place of creativity, healing, and friendship.

All because of YOU, BAC directly supports the health and wellness of Los Angeles. After the recent wildfires, BAC held a free Evening of Creativity & Healing, where an estimated 200+ attended art workshops to heal. As survivors and witnesses cope with tough emotions, trauma, and more, community members have shared that BAC has helped their healing journey. We THANK YOU!

We are truly grateful for the work we get to do, providing exceptional visual arts programming to students of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences.

As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, in 2025 BAC proudly provided 34,060 hours of arts instruction to almost 2,300 children, teens, adults, and seniors. Need-based scholarships were awarded to 48 children and adults by eliminating or reducing fees, ensuring equitable access to the arts. Our Veterans Art Program also provided fine arts training to 790 veterans at the Veterans Administration in Westwood, and at our Santa Monica campus.

By giving generously and enrolling in our classes, you can ensure that BAC is here to stay!

Please make a special gift to sustain BAC — and all the programming and scholarships we offer for those in our community who could not otherwise share the experiences you enjoy at BAC.

Please help us to make sure our mission is fully realized. What does it mean to be a nonprofit art center in 2025 and beyond? It means we stand strong in our mission to give back to our creative community while actively providing outstanding art instruction for all.

It’s pretty simple. It feels good to give and to know that your donation is sending a child to art class or giving our Veterans Art Program the opportunity to expand to a new location.

We ask you to make a special gift and consider increasing your support to sustain BAC scholarships and veterans programs, so that we can share our work with those in our community who could not otherwise share the experiences you enjoy at BAC.

Any contribution would be deeply appreciated. Please help us say yes to more summer camp scholarships and help us say yes to our veterans who so richly deserve the artistic opportunity.

Cost of sending a camper to camp for a week: $690

Cost of running the expanded program with VA: $1000 for a month of instruction
